Compare and Contrast two TV Adverts and say which you think is the most effective and why? I am going to compare and contrast the Sony Bravia paint advert, advertising the Sony Hi Definition LCD TV against the Iceland 'cook from frozen' advert. I have chosen the Sony advert as it is my personal favourite, it is extremely creative, unique, compelling and exciting; I thought that it would be interesting to compare it with a completely different style of advert, such as the Iceland advert, which is far from exciting or unique, but tells a story and features a celebrity, they both remain in your subconscious but not in the same way and these differences are what I plan to explore throughout this essay. For the 60 second Sony Bravia advert, there is no story at all, but this just adds to the interest, I was intrigued, what is this about?...
