Who is the real monster in Frankenstein? This is a difficult question as there is no conclusive answer but in this essay I hope to give my views as to who I consider to be the real monster. To begin I will give you some dictionary definitions of a monster:- a. An imaginary or legendary creature, such as a centaur or Harpy that combines parts from various animal or human forms. b. A creature having a strange or frightening appearance. c. An animal, a plant, or other organism having structural defects or deformities. d. Pathology A fetus or an infant that is grotesquely abnormal and usually not viable. e. One who inspires horror or disgust f. a cruel wicked and inhuman person As you can see from the above it is obvious that although the creature created by Frankenstein fits some of these definitions, it is however not just the physical aspect...
