... In this essay I shall be comparing two love poems. I have chosen to compare the poem, 'i wanna be yours' written by John Cooper Clarke and 'To His Coy Mistress', written by Andrew Marvell (Pre 1900). I shall compare the way that the two poems are written and the different techniques used to show the writer's love. Love is an amazing subject. This makes the task of writing a love poem without resorting to difficult situations. I chose to write about the poem 'i wanna be yours' because this poem tries to express ideas about love in a fresh and striking way. To realize and congratulate this approach, I chose to compare the poem with 'To His Coy Mistress', which is more custom. 'To His Coy Mistress' talks clearly about the beauty of his loved one, and gives her compliments on her eyes, forehead, breasts and heart,
