Whole lotta love - Led Zeppelin Song Structure Guitar: The guitar part consists mainly of a simple riff that is repeated throughout the song to keep the rhythm of the song going, the main riff is also played in unison with the bass guitar. In the instrumental interlude the guitar solo is played around a blues scale. Bass: The Bassist's role in the song is mainly to keep the rhythm of the song going while also playing the main riff in unison with the guitar to give the song a feeling of direction. Drums: The rhythm of the songs main riff is in 16th notes whereas the drums keeps in a 8th note rhythm with an accented note on the second and eighth beat of the bar. Throughout the song various different fills are generally to be made of 16th notes and played in groups of 6. Throughout the song the drum beat varies and involves
