... English - Poetry Coursework Compare three poems you have studied on the theme of death. Explore how each of the poets deals differently with this theme. Death affects us in many different ways or form. It's always there and no-one can avoid it. These three poems show how from different cultures and background you can depict death from many aspects. Death is considered from many different standpoints in literature from around the world. We face death, deal with the death of a loved one, and discuss the religious or philosophical significance of death The three poems I will be using for my coursework are "Midterm Break - Seamus Heaney", "Stop all the clocks - W.H.Auden" and "Tropical Death - Grace Nichols".
