... Suheelan Thayalaseelan Avalanche I was skiing down the slope at full speed trying to catch up with Kannan my only brother. I then heard a tremendous yell from behind so I quickly skidded to a halt and looked back. A few other people, just like me came to a halt and were looking back as well. I turned around, saw Kannan fall and begin to tumble. I was right in his path! Quick as lightning I dug my ski poles into the ground and dived to the left behind a tree, this way I was saved at least a bit from the 'snow spray' he left behind him. After he had tobogganed helplessly past on his back I got up and shook my clothes so the snow would fall off. Kannan had only come to a standstill because the part he was on was a flat bit of land. Swiftly I went over
