The main reason that directors use musical scenes in films is to get the audiences attention, to engage them to what is taking place in the scene and to show the audience how the characters are feeling. Musical scenes normally include a hero and a heroine, they normally create an atmosphere that is linked with the song. The main focus of this task is to compare and contrast two different musical scenes. The two different musical scenes that are going to be compared are " The Elephant Medley" from the film Moulin Rouge. This was made in 2001 and was directed by Baz Luhrmann and "Qwali" from the Indian film Main Hoon Na, this film was made in 2004 and was directed by Farah Khan.
