What our users think of the Miscellaneous essays in this section:

"Good essay, but needs some quotes adding to support the points."
bob
"The biggest problem facing this piece is rather evident - there isn't a question! Nor does the essay actually imply what the question is - there's no real structure here. There's not really an introduction or a conclusion, rather a collation of discrete points. As the reader, I'm wondering why you've written this and what you're trying to say to me. However, looking past that we see a number of other problems. There are numerous typo's (infeminate rather than effeminate, and Lambic pentameter rather than Iambic pentameter), and there's an odd paragraph break where you end a paragraph mid way through a sentence and continue in another one. These are simple errors however. More pressing is the lack of evidence you give to support your claims. For example, you claim that Romeo and Juliet is a play where Shakespeare asks one to obey their fathers - why? It's an unsubstantiated claim and you don't really mention it ever again. You need to use evidence from the text to back up the claims you make, because a lot if this essay is just very weak. TSR User: chidona"
