... Direct a scene from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet In this essay I am going to direct a scene from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The play was written in 1594 - 97. The play is a tragedy and sows the lives of two lovers; Romeo and Juliet. The play expresses some morals to the reader; it shows how hatred can affect many lives and how it can have painful consequences. I have chosen to direct Act 3 Scene 1, which is the fight scene where Tybalt and Mercutio die. I choose this scene because the result of the scene causes the events which lead to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The scene has a consequence because the fight between Romeo and Tybalt causes Mercutio to try and defend his friend. This showing that Mercutio is loyal and it shows the strong friendship between Romeo and Mercutio. The death of Mercutio causes
