What our users think of the J.B. Priestly essays in this section:
"very good and imaginative"

"I have read many essays on this site and found most to be absolute drivel, but this is excellent. Well written and actually answers the questions. "

"this is very well done"
rohit007
"The essay has a very clear understanding of the cultural impact that the play has, and it is of real interest to read such an essay. There is considerable analysis and evaluation of how Priestly manages the social and economic understanding, and how the play has withstood the test of time. What is most disappointing, however, is the real sparsity of analysis of the play beyond its surface level. Quotes are presented as islands between sea of analysis and left to speak to the reader. The author has certainly used very little lingual or structural analysis in this otherwise interesting essay.
