A view from the bridge In this essay I will be discussing who I think was responsible for Eddie Carbone's death. The play in which I will be discussing is called view from a bridge. Eddie shows protectiveness towards his niece when he expresses his feelings saying "I don't like the looks there given u in the candy store" this tells me that he doesn't like other people looking at her. His attitude towards his wife is very old fashioned because he thinks Beatrice should behave as proper housewife and also do as she is told. In one scene Eddie Catharine and Beatrice are having conversation when Beatrice excuses heself and goes to wash the dishes. Eddie respects masculinity in other men and believes men should provide for their family only seems to respect the men that share the same qualities he sees in himself . I know he respects masculinity...
