Have a little read: ... I have chosen to use the Collie as the subject for my speech, as this is a thing I am particularly passionate about. I will endeavour to explain what I like about these beautiful creatures and some of the care that they require. I hope that it will be both interesting and an enjoyable. The Collie is a hardy and healthy breed. Not only are they beautiful, but they are also intelligent, loyal, loving, sensitive and very easy to train. In addition to being a very clean dog, they are one of the easiest breeds to housebreak. If raised properly and treated with respect, they can make the perfect family pet. I would not recommend keeping a Collie as a complete outside/backyard dog however, as they love to be with their owners, interacting with people and lounging around the house.
