Autobiographical Coursework It's something that happened every weekend although I never did get used to it. I don't think anyone ever could. We piled into the car, my mum, my little sisters, and me. The only sound was the engine, no radio, no conversation, no nothing. My little sisters were too scared to break the tension they didn't understand. The drive seemed to stretch on for hours. Staring out of the window watching the road markings pass by in a blur of white only increased the nausea I was already feeling. I was too scared to look at any of my family. There was a strange awkwardness between the people who knew me best as if, if we didn't acknowledge each other this wasn't really happening, this wasn't real.
