'A window of opportunity' - By Ben fowler The doors opened and a blinding ray of sunlight shone into my eyes "Come on we don't have all day mate" came the distant voice of the van driver, who had kindly given me the lift to my hometown of Rochdale. I cautiously stepped out of the van into a world I had not seen in fifteen years. I thanked the van driver and watched the dust fly as the van sped away. Once the dust had cleared I started walking towards the town centre. I knew it was Rochdale, but it had changed so much it was almost unrecognisable. I was now walking down the main street, everything was so alien to me. I looked around and saw a community I had never seen before, for instance there were people with green hair and bolts through their noses, others...
