English Coursework Laura Clowes Once again she was the victim. She sat alone, trembling, in the vaguely lit cupboard. Bloody tears streaming down her face. Thoughts of anger, hatred and pain repeatedly playing through her mind. How long would this go on for? The dampness and darkness began to creep up on her, as though it was crawling up her spine. She heard a familiar voice bellowing her name, maybe too familiar. A devilish sort of tone, one that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. Still she sat; her heart pounding so hard you could almost hear it beating. Clenching her fists, she dug her half broken nails deep into the palm of her hand. Waiting in hope she wouldn't be unveiled. Or maybe she should just show her self, try to run away. How much more could he do to her anyway? How...
