GCSE ENGLISH COURSEWORK Trapped There she was sitting in the waiting room, watching the white plastic clock on the green walls, ticking away moments of her life, ink black eyes watching the lady move. Petrified and alone. Each time she took her eyes of the clock she thought the other people were staring at her as they sniffled and sneezed. Was she a freak? Could they guess? She was sick with fear and her hands seemed liquid. Her smooth chestnut brown hair was cut neatly into her face with a few strands of hair sticking up from the slight breeze coming from the opened window. Her silky, tanned skin glistened in the harsh light of the sun. She looked pretty, young and normal but she knew that she was not. She loathed the doctors. The room was full of people gossiping to each other about what was happening...
