English Original Writing Coursework He was nervous as hell; it was in just one hour. He checked his digital watch, still mid-afternoon. He'd have to make it to the right building in time for the man's arrival. He'd never been to this particular block before. He was apparently a very important man indeed, though this meeting was his first in New York. It would also be the first time he'd seen him in the flesh, if he was nervous and lost his cool. The barman took his glass and held it inquisitively. "No," he said, staring at the badge the barman was wearing, "thanks." The man shrugged and began to clean the glass. He got up, from the bar, slung his jacket over his arm and picked up his black leather briefcase. Straightening out his shirt and tie and checking his hair in the mirror behind the bar, he thanked the barman, again, and swerved...
