THE ECHO The sun was gradually starting to sink, turning the sky bright orange and burgundy. It was a wonderful spring day. Here and there stood beautiful flowers shooting out from the ground. As I was wandering along Woodshires Road, making my way back home after spending a tiresome, tedious day at school, I could see birds swooping high, butterflies fluttering here and there and squirrels merrily scampering between trees. Songs from hidden birds made the atmosphere seem very pleasant. As I looked up towards the sky, I could see it starting to turn smoky-grey. The clouds soon started to build up and before I even realised, it was raining cats and dogs. In this dreary weather I was ambivalent about what to do because I could either rush home which would take me at least twenty minutes, or I could find a place for shelter on this desolate road.
