The Competition Chapter1-The Introduction The sun rose on a beautiful Friday morning at a lake in Gloucestershire. Sunny, just a little breeze and the water, lightly rippling, made for the perfect wakeboarding conditions. When I turned up at the lake there was about 6 other people preparing for the competition on Sunday, The Liquid Force Shield. This was the biggest wakeboarding event in the country. People all round of the British Isles and some even from Europe come to compete. It then reminded me of when I was first introduced to the sport. It was an early morning like this and I was 13, my father and I came to this lake to watch the John Fisher Memorial Cup.
