Prometheus was a Greek god who created humanity this links in with the book as Victor is the creator of the monster. The novel was written by Mary Shelley in 1818. The book is basically about a man who is obsessed with life and attempts to cheat death and is unaware of the consequences, that in the end go terribly wrong. The main characters of the book are Victor, Frankenstein, Captain Walton and Elizabeth. Each of the characters tells the story from a different point of view.
