Frankenstein The title of the novel is Frankenstein and the name is from the main character in the novel Victor Frankenstein, the novel was written by Mary Shelly a novelist best known for her historical and Gothic novels. Mary wrote the novel back in 1818 when she was 19 also she was greatly influenced by the death of her mother, Mary in addition had 4 children but 3 of them died in which when the first one died she had a dream that she had brought the child back to life by warming it near the fire, this events may have influenced her writing Frankenstein and developing the idea for victor's ambition of creating life. The novel was mainly about a young man called victor Frankenstein a genius looking for a way to create life, the main reason he wanted this was to benefit the humanity.
