A CHILLING TALE As lightning illuminated the sky, it was possible to see the place where it all started.... It was an unusually cool night for June, with a damp mist lingering on a slight breeze. It was 1983 and I was on the way to a new job working for a funeral directors in the highlands of Scotland, it had been a long day driving from my current residence in London to the new house in a small place called Langham. I was in my beatle, with little fuel and no will to drive. I looked through my bleary eyes and saw in the distance a large house.
