English Literature Creative Writing 3 Days I woke up from my dreams, disturbed by the tapping of an old lady's stick as she walked past. I felt myself falling towards consciousness unable to stop until I finally landed, an earwig shaken from a sack onto fresh dew-soaked grass. My eyes drifted open and I found myself staring once more into the depths of my palms. I tilted my head up and looked at the sky. It was a beautiful morning. The sky was a radiant shade of blue, the sun just peeping over the tops of the trees on the edge of the park, full of new joy and beauty, as if every day it shone upon brought a new meaning to its existence. I felt the hate well up inside me as if the sun was responsible for my plight. It would always rise in the east...
