Compare the techniques used by two holiday brochure to target their audiences and sell their products. I looked at two different travel advertisements one for Blackpool and one for Ibiza. They were both very different, because the advertisements were aiming to attract different target market. Blackpool for older people, Ibiza for younger people. I studied the colours, layouts, fonts, pictures, language and came to several conclusions.What I hope to achieve by writing this essay is to see what is the purpose of the two advertisements and if they were effective. In the Ibiza advertisement the colours are very bright and eye-catching with lots of "sparkle" which represent glamour, shiny, exciting holidays. There is also a dark background which makes you think that most of the activities will take place after dark.
