The poem Two Scavengers in a Truck, Two Beautiful People in a Mercedes is about stating how the "American dream" is no reality and that not everyone can become rich and not everyone has equal opportunities. Nothings Changed is about the time of separation of black and white people in Africa. In Nothings changed the poem is very personal, as he has experienced the time of apartheid in Africa. He writes to show how although the government has changed the way in which black people get treated has not.
