This is because many of the people involved in the breakdown of this relationship hold a belief that makes them think the way they think, not that they have something against the couple getting married. This essay attempts to look into a few of the main issues that cause the relationship to break down and tries to clarify that it was mainly state of affairs that caused this and not people. Foremost, the different cultural backgrounds that Obi and Clara belong to are one of the major causes for their relationship breakdown. Clara's being an Osu, which is generally known in Ibo culture as some kind of bad luck to associate oneself with such people, does no good in to help their relationship grow...
