The first activity in the stimuli topic we did was to study two stimuli and use then to come up with a piece for our sessions. The first stimulus we looked at was a poem. The poem was called "The loss of the Titanic". This poem was written not long after the Titanic sunk so it was probably written in around the 1920s. The second stimulus we looked at was a photograph of the twin towers terrorist attack. This stimulus was obviously recent and was found on the Internet. The two stimuli are similar in some ways, as they are both about a tragedy and both the pieces contain material which actually took place. There are also some differences though. The obvious difference is that one is a poem and the other is a photograph. Another difference is that they are put over to the reader/viewer in different ways....
