Unit 3 Is the access to the CBD equal for all groups of people? Aim: What groups of people access the CBD? Why does the access to services vary between these groups? How do two chosen groups access Croydon's CBD differently? Introduction: There are many different groups of people which make up a community including the elderly, young and the economically active which are between 15- 64, there are also the elderly dependants who depend on the economically active. Although the two main different groups of people that we chose were to compare were is an abled bodied person and a disabled person as shown on pages 23-24 with the comparison of both groups. The different needs of these people are that youngsters/teenagers or adults- the economically active need night services but need convenient buses such as bus 916 for elderly people also certain types of services such as the categories like shops- retail, entertainment etc....
