The evaluative phase Throughout this scheme we have looked at two different cultures. The first was the African third world village, which we started with, by looking at photographs of third world people. Then secondly was the western family. Which we created by looking at "A new life for Delise" All these themes involved the body and organ donation. The last text we looked at was a newspaper article about illegal organ donation. I had no idea that there was such a thing and by studying it I learnt a lot. The video we watched "A new life for Delise" was a very touching documentary about a girl who had severe kidney problems and the only way to save her was by having a kidney transplant. I could relate to this text easier than the others because delise and her family lived in England, living a similar life to...
