Gregory's Girl Evaluation of performance SUSAN Jacqueline tried to portray Susan as a flirty and seductive character. She used her voice and tone well, however her body movements and gestures made her appear shy and uncomfortable. She delivered her lines at a good pace. Several times when she was delivering her lines, she moved closer to the audiences and made eye contact, which got the audience's full attention. After a few interrupts, when Dorothy ran past, Jacqueline dropped her hands with a frustrated look, which I thought was really good. In the last scene, where Gregory and Susan were supposed to kiss, she appeared very tense and awkward. Jacqueline pulled herself away from 'Gregory' as soon as the other characters finished the counting so the scene did not end with an ending freeze as the stage direction says.
