Gold Legged Frog is a story about the struggle between the choice between poverty and life, and which one is more important? In this story there are basically four main characters. The main character in the story is the Father. The father is the story is portrayed as just like any other caring and loving father who cares a lot about his family. The father spends all his money on his family and works hard on the fields. This is shown in line 4 'He sat exhausted against a tree trunk'. This shows he had been working hard. The father in this story is produced by the author to be a good father but easily under pressured by his fellow villagers. This is because when his son was dying, his fellow villagers persisted that he goes and gets the money from the government or go in jail, instead of staying with...
