Organization of the workplace Many potential hazards can be avoided y the way in which the workplace is laid out. Areas in the workplace should be designated for particular activities. Storage areas and walkways should be clearly marked and kept clean and tidy, with waste materials disposed of correctly. Many materials can be recycled or can be used by a waste diposal company.
