February 2002 21st Century Sculpture-Andy Goldsworthy In this study of Andy Goldsworthy and his work, I am going to research about him and his life, and his artwork; what inspires him? Where do his ideas originate? What kind of expression is being put forward in his work? How has Andy Goldsworthy used natural forms and materials as vehicles for his expression? This simply means: How has Andy Goldsworthy used natural forms and materials (stones, wood, leaves, snow and ice, reeds and thorns), to show how he is feeling and how he feels about certain issues or situations, and how he expresses them?
