I'm going to design an artefact that will alert me whenever my brother enters my room without permission. I will have it flashing and beeping. My mum and dad will know that the noise is my brother entering into my room and they can also worn him off.

Problem 1 When I went into town with my mates recently, I noticed that the majority of the shop had plain boring, static displays. Any shop that did have a moving display such as the gadget shop definitely drew more attention. I spoke to one shop owner about window displays and he told me that while the moving displays are more attractive and noticeable they are extremely expensive, therefore many shop owners can't afford them. Perhaps those shops that have had to close down due to lack of customers would have had more interest shown had they use a more effective window display. Problem 2 My brother and I are fortunate enough to have are own rooms but unfortunately my younger brother doesn't respect my privacy and often enters my room without permission. He has borrowed my CD's and on occasions they have been returned damaged. My parents will not let me fit...
