During the war numerous leaflets and advertisements were produced about food because there were many issues regarding it, such as food rations and variety's of tastes using the same ingredients. During the war Britain did not have as much food supply's as it would normally do. This was because food could not be imported due to fear of ships being attacked. Source C is a leaflet produced by the Ministry of Food which is informing people how food is a 'weapon' which Britain must use to win the war, as guns are to men, food is to women.
