Some of the diet related health problems children could suffer from now are * Tooth decay * Anaemia * Constipation * Obesity Research shows us that children in Northern Ireland have got extremely bad teeth. Some children have got on average four to five teeth, which are rotted, filled or missing. The British dental association carried out more research on tooth decay that shows 41% of 5-year-old children have at least one primary tooth filled and these children also suffer from severe tooth decay. This is a very high statistic. Claudette Christie from the British dental association says, "Action needs to be taken" her suggestion is to "give out one million free tubes of toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash and dental gum to all the areas that have been recorded as the worst in Northern Ireland".
