Have a little read: ... We have learned that customer care is an important area which needs to be focused on in all types of businesses especially hospitality. The customers are need to be treated considerately to ensure that they comeback and maximize the hospitality outlet's profit. A good example for bad customer care is when a meal which is not served is held until the next day; the opportunity for a sale has been lost. The school canteen does not welcome the students at the entrance of the canteen. The dinner ladies do not say 'good morning', 'afternoon' or 'evening'. The school canteen does not do any of this because a school canteen is a different kind of outlet than other hospitality outlets have. It is a non-profit department. The school canteen only has one menu on the wall for everyone to look at rather than giving a copy of menu to every student.
