Could losing weight on the Atkins have an adverse effect on your health? There is a certain way to a healthy living and that is through our foods we eat. In the lives we have today we have to make sure we eat all the necessary foods. We have to make sure to eat a variety of foods. Not a single food or portion can supply 40 different nutrients for our good health. We have to balance our foods intake for example if you had lunch high in protein, then later for dinner you could have meal low in protein. Our diets need to be based rich in carbohydrates. Foods like pasta, bread, rice, cereals and potatoes are high in carbohydrates and need to be eaten more. Fruits and vegetables should be eaten on a regular basis.
