An Event That Changed My Life The summer was quickly coming to an end. My friend Daniel, and I were getting ready for a long school year. We had not spent much time together over the summer, because we both had to work full time to save money for school. My parents had decided that they were going to go to Calgary for two weeks, which created a chance for Daniel, and I to redeem an extremely boring summer. It didn't seem likely that a moment within those two weeks could have change the rest of my life; but that is exactly what happened.
