Catalase Coursework Substrate Concentration and Enzyme Action Introduction The aim of this experiment is to measure the amount of oxygen that is produced when an enzyme reacts with different amounts of volume of Hydrogen Peroxide. I will be observing how the enzyme Catalase affects the rate of reaction. Firstly, I will use my preliminary results to find a suitable time and amount of Hydrogen Peroxide and Yeast.
