Apparatus/Method: 1) Set up apparatus as above. 2) Using the cork borer, a ruler, and a knife, cut 10 equally sized pieces of potato. 3) Measure out 20ml H2O2 and pour into the flask. 4) Drop a piece of potato into the flask and close it straight away, and immediately start timing. 5) After 2 minutes, measure the amount of gas in the test tube. 6) Pour the solution away, putting the potato in the bin, and rinse the flask with water. 7) Repeat the experiment, using different concentrations of H2O2. Safety/Fair Testing: Safety rules I will follow: *Tie back long hair *Wear goggles when using chemicals *Keep the floor clear of bags, and tuck stools under desk *Only keep essential equipment on desk, and pack everything else away To make this a fair experiment, I will: *Cut the pieces of potato to equal sizes *Accurately measure the H2O2 and H2O, and...
