Tim Yu The Rate of Reaction of Metals with Acid - [Preliminary Work.] Brief: I have to investigate the effect on the kinetics of a reaction of several different variables. At this stage, I have chosen to study the effect of concentration and temperature on the reaction. Preliminary experiment 1: effect of concentration on rate of reaction Method: I intend to change the concentration of my acid for the first experiment, using 10 cm3 of acid at varying concentrations. The acid will be measured out using a 10 cm3 pipette, read at eye level to avoid parallax error.
