SAM SELLEY 10 BIOLOGY COURSEWORK TASK: Testing the reaction of the enzyme catalyse with Hydrogen peroxide. HYDROGEN PEROXIDE WATER + OXYGEN H O H O + O PREDICTION: During my experiment there are certain things I will expect to happen. The most obvious thing to predict is that the more percentage of Hydrogen Peroxide added to the liver the more Oxygen should be produced. So I think the 25% of Hydrogen Peroxide will give off the most Oxygen. EQUIPMENT: Conical Flask, Gas syringe, Hydrogen Peroxide and pieces of liver. SAFETY: For this experiment to be safe I will need to wear goggles to prevent any of the Hydrogen Peroxide going in my eyes. The other safety features would be: . To tie back hair .
