Donald Blankson Hemans Science GCSE Coursework Rate of reaction between Sodium Thiosulphate and Hydrochloric acid Plan In this piece of coursework, I will be investigating the rates of reaction, I will also be investigating the effect different changes have on them. The rate of reaction tells us how a fast a chemical reaction takes place. The rate of reaction is the rate of formation of a product during a chemical reaction. The rate of reaction can also be defined as the speed at which a reaction takes place. It is measured by dividing 1 by the time taken for the reaction to take place. I have to make this experiment a fair one. To do this I will keep all the variables constant: The type of acid, equipment used. I will change the concentration of the acid using water. I will start of with pure acid and add more and more...
