Rate of Reaction In chemistry, reaction is when two or more molecules interact together. Then, the speed of a reaction happens is know as the rate of reaction. The reaction has a low rate that means the molecules combine at a slower speed than a reaction with a high rate. Furthermore, some reaction will take hundreds, maybe even thousands of years while other can happen in less than one second. I also think that there are numbers of factors to affect the rate of reaction. They are 1) the temperature of the solution, 2) the concentration of acid 3) the surface area of the reactant, or 4) use a catalyst to accelerate the reaction. Therefore, in order to find out what factors will affect the rate of reaction, we do an experiment about how long does a metal react in a solution. Before I do the experiment, I need to do...
