Investigating the effect of tempreture on the reaction between sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid. Procedure Method I will mix together 10cm3 of sodium thiosulphate to 40cm3 of distilled water .Put them in to a beaker and heat to the desired temperature. Measure out 5cm3 of hydrochloric acid and put in to a conical flask. Add the sodium thiosulphate and water, when all the solution is in the conical flask that is the indication to start the stop clock. Put the flask over a piece of paper with an x marked on it. When you can no longer see the x ( will turn cloudy) that is the indication to stop the stop clock. I repeated this 3 times at different temperatures. The temperatures were 20?,30?,40?,50?,60? and 70?. I will make this a fair test by using the same equipment. I will clean out the equimpment before I use a different solution in in...
