Toni Hodson Investigating the Effects of Temperature on the Rate of Reaction between Hydrogen Peroxide and Catalase. From the investigation I was able to collect the results shown on the following page. With these I may be able to see if the Q10 formula is accurate for catalase. Also I'm able to plot some graphs, one showing the rate of reaction against temperature of the averages and one showing kinetic energy in the reaction. When completing the reaction there was factors that needed to be considered as they contribute to the likeliness of the inaccuracies, they are; * The accuracy to which I measure the hydrogen peroxide, using the measuring cylinder at the meniscus on the graduation mark, also gradual breakdown of the hydrogen peroxide and impurities in the beaker including water (after being washed out) need to be accounted for. * The accuracy to which I can control the surface area of the yeast pellets...
