Biology course work Aim To investigate the concentration of trypsin Hypothesis I predict an increase in the concentration of trypsin will increase the rate of reaction at a constant temperature. The graph I am going to draw up into my analysis the plots on the graph will have positive coloration because of the increase of the rate of reaction is most likely to produce a curved shape on the graph because the increase in the rate of reaction will not exactly be the same as the concentration increases. Equipment Test tubes Trypsin Milk powder Water bath -To heat the enzymes and substrate Thermometer- To make sure both liquids are at the same temperature Syringe- Measure the amounts of trypsin and the amount of milk solution Stopwatch- To work out how fast the rate of reaction is from star to finish Measuring cylinders Safety measures Wearing goggles will protect your eyes during the experiment, and an apron will protect your skin. Tongs will be used when handling hot test...
