HCl(aq) + CaCO3(s) CaCl2(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l) Aim The aim is to investigate the effect that increasing or decreasing the concentration of the HCL has on the speed of reaction, between HCl + CaCO3. We will determine the speed/ rate of reaction by measuring the amount of CO2 given off in a set time.
