AIM: How Concentration of acid effects speed of reaction. For the experiment I shall use Marble Chips and Acid to measure the speed of reaction, CACO and HCL are the formulas for Marble Chips and Hydrochloric acid. PREDICTION: The higher the concentration of acid the faster the reaction will take place, this is because there are more particles to collide with. This is known as the Kinetic theory. Kinetic Theory Box A has more particles than Box B this means that there would be more collisions in Box A than in Box B as there is less space to move around in. More collisions mean that the reaction is faster. Therefore the Kinetic theory proves that more concentrated the acid the faster the reaction.
